Remembering Phil

When television writer Phil Winters returns from vacation, it seems as if nobody is aware he’s
ever existed. Early signs are easily rationalized: luggage lost, no mail or voice messages.
Symptoms worsen at the TV studio, where Phil finds he no longer has a job. Meanwhile his
electricity, phones and bank accounts are cut off. Not even his psychiatrist remembers him. The
only person who acknowledges his existence is a mysterious young woman, Debbie, who claims
to be his daughter from a college flame. Phil knows that’s ludicrous, but is drawn to her,
nonetheless. As Debbie leads him on a darkly comic voyage of self-discovery, Phil must face his
fears and confront the compromises of his life, with his very existence hanging in the balance
